About the Wilmington Women's Soccer Association
Established in 2006, the Wilmington Women’s Soccer Association (WWSA) provides a dynamic platform for women in Southeastern North Carolina to engage in competitive soccer while fostering community connections. Our league is dedicated to creating a supportive environment where women of all skill levels, 18 and older, can participate in high-quality matches and build lasting friendships. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting out, WWSA welcomes you to join our vibrant community and experience the camaraderie and excitement of the game.
Regular Fall/Spring outdoor seasons are comprised of 7v7 teams. Games are played on Thursday evenings at New Hanover County’s Veteran’s Park Complex. The league also schedules Summer/Winter indoor pick-up seasons at Off the Wall.
For the Spring 2025 season, all games will be played on the blue fields. Games will be played at 7:00 and 8:30 pm. The schedule will be posted on the Schedule & Scores page and any updates or cancelations due to weather can be found there.
